MRCS MASTERS is an educational application designed to support preparation for the MRCS examination. This policy explains what information the app uses, why it is used, where it is stored and how account deletion works.
When you use Sign in with Apple, MRCS MASTERS uses the identifier provided by Apple to associate your app account with the application and to manage eligibility for the one-time free mock examination. The app may also receive your name or email address from Apple when those details are made available, but the core examination functionality does not require them.
Your examination activity, including question attempts, performance information, revision progress and flagged questions, is stored locally on your device to provide the app's functionality.
Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple. MRCS MASTERS does not store your Apple password or payment details. The app stores the Apple-provided app-specific user identifier in the iOS Keychain so that your account and one-time free-mock eligibility can be recognised when you return to the app.
MRCS MASTERS provides one free 20-question mock per Apple Account. A limited entitlement record associated with the Apple-provided app-specific identifier may be retained in the device Keychain after account deletion solely to prevent repeated use of the one-time free entitlement. This record is not used for advertising, profiling or payment processing.
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and are processed using Apple's StoreKit services. MRCS MASTERS does not receive or store your payment card or other payment details. Subscription status is obtained from Apple.
Cancelling an Apple subscription does not delete your MRCS MASTERS account, and deleting your MRCS MASTERS account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
MRCS MASTERS does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for advertising or cross-app tracking. The current app does not send examination activity to an external analytics, advertising or artificial-intelligence service. Apple independently processes information associated with Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases under Apple's own privacy practices.
Local examination history and the local Apple Account association can be deleted from within MRCS MASTERS using Delete Account. Deleting the account removes the locally stored account association and local examination data held by MRCS MASTERS. A limited completed-free-mock entitlement record may be retained on the device to prevent repeated use of the one-time free mock. Apple may retain information required to operate its own services, including App Store purchase records.
MRCS MASTERS is intended for medical professionals and examination candidates and is not directed towards children.
This policy may be updated when the application's data practices change. The current version will be made available with the MRCS MASTERS App Store privacy information.
